The Kåvra lobster project is kicking off

The lobster project at Kåvra is now in an active phase and the diving will start in May – June and ends in September. First, we will (using scooters) look for areas with very high concentrations of lobster. We will then select the best area where we investigate number, sex and size of lobsters.

We will finish the dive study doing night dives. Then we will, together with the Institute of marine research in Lysekil, investigate the catch ability of the Carapax lobster pot.

Assisting us in the project are our Boat Drivers and the D & S Advisory Board.
